MOSCOW, Idaho (AP) — Political infighting and disputes over parliamentary procedures has delayed the last day of the Idaho GOP convention from selecting a new state party chairman and amending its party platform.

Hundreds of Idaho Republicans met Saturday in Moscow, Idaho. While the theme of the convention was determined to be "Freedom and Unity," tea party forces and establishment candidates have spent most of the convention fighting over control of the party.

Republicans are expected to vote on a new chairman who will serve a two-year term. Those candidates include current chairman Barry Peterson, who is seeking a second term; Blackfoot sheep herder Mike Duff; and Premier Technology President Doug Sayer.
