BOISE, Idaho (AP) — Idaho Power officials say a goose flying into a power line knocked out power to about 330 customers in Boise on Friday.

Officials say the outage started at about 8:30 a.m. but was resolved within 30 minutes. Idaho Power spokesman Kevin Winslow tells the Idaho Statesman that a goose hitting a power line is a common cause for outages in that area.
