WENDELL, Idaho (AP) — Gooding County officials are searching for two suspects after a man was found badly injured along a road in south-central Idaho.

Chief Deputy Jerry Pierce says 31-year-old Jason Given of Blackfoot was found at about 6 p.m. Saturday by an emergency medical technician who was driving on the road south of Wendell.

Pierce says Given's throat was slashed, he had a stab wound to the head and a fractured skull.

Pierce says the stabbing took place at a cabin and Given was able to get out to the road.

Officers are looking for two suspects in a white car.
