GLENNS FERRY, Idaho (KLIX) – A Glenns Ferry man has been arrested for suspicion of possessing child pornography. 

Jesus A. Gastelum, 20, is suspected of possessing digital images and videos that show children being victimized. He was booked into the Elmore County Jail following his arrest.

The arrested occurred Wednesday morning under the direction of Attorney General Lawrence Wasden investigators with his Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children Unit. The Elmore County Sheriff’s Office, the Elmore County Prosecutor’s Office and the United States Postal Inspection Service assisted in the investigation.

According to the Attorney General's Office:

Anyone with information regarding the exploitation of children is encouraged to contact local police, the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit at 208-334-4527 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678.

The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies to investigate and prosecute individuals who use the internet to criminally exploit children.
