Free Tree Pruning Class This Weekend at Centennial Park with CSI
Want to learn how to prune your own trees? Free of charge? Join the CSI Horticulture students as they do some public service at Centennial Park this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bring your gloves and any pruning tools you have. Or if you don’t have any, come use ours. We’ll show you the right way to prune your own trees as you help us with the historic trees in the park.
Summer and fall registration have just started. The first of five 4- to 8-week summer sessions is only about a month away and the fall semester starts August 26th. Now is the time to register.
The next installment of the CSI Student Senate Operation Change fundraiser is next Friday, April 12th. It’s Pasta for Prescott. Prescott Hanni is the recipient of this year’s fundraising. He’s been a very sick little boy who has undergone all kinds of tests and treatments. We hope you’ll come enjoy a pasta dinner buffet at the Turf Club from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, the 12th. Tickets at the door are $14 per person or $25 per couple.
