October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month: 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in their lifetime.  The research on this is solid:  Early detection is the key to best survival odds.   Among many services, the clinic provides early detection to those with limited income and who are uninsured or underinsured.  Those services can be free to those who qualify.

Arne Walker, Executive Director of the Wellness Tree Clinic in Twin Falls joined us on the Morning Show and talked about the clinic and the service it provides to our community.

You are encouraged to contact the Wellness Tree Clinic to see if you are eligible for services.

The Wellness Tree Clinic offers  is a nonprofit organization,  that operates on private donations from individuals, organizations and community grants.

If you'd like to help the Wellness Tree Clinic mission by donating, you can give online or join them for the Bra's Across The Canyon fundraiser on Saturday 10/4/14 from 12p-3p at the visitors center in Twin Falls.  Chick-fil-A will be serving up free sandwiches and you can donate to the Wellness Tree Clinic during the event.
