It's again nothing major, but there's yet another quake that has hit near Yellowstone National Park. This marks at least 4 quakes measurable by the USGS that has hit in the past few weeks.

This one measured a 2.8 and was centered very near Hoback, Wyoming right next to the Idaho border. As you may recall, the area around Yellowstone has had a 2.5, 2.6 and 2.9 recently.

The USGS reports the major quakes, but a better reference for those of us in the Magic Valley is the University of Utah's recent earthquake map.

This is the image captured this afternoon of Yellowstone area quakes. Yellowstone is typically a very active seismic place, but recently there has definitely been an increase.
