Forza Horizon 2 Turns the Key on Its First 100 Cars
All the cars on the list are built from the ground up for the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2, and feature meticulous details like functioning windshield wipers, working headlights and interior lights, and dynamic dirt-mapping. The 100 cars listed include high-performance supercars like the 2013 McLaren P1 and the game’s cover star, the 2014 Lamborghini Huracán LP 610-4, but also caters to other types of racers with rally cars like the 2011 Subaru WRX STI, off-road vehicles like the 2006 HUMMER H1 Alpha, and classic American muscle cars like the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302. The Xbox Wire reveal focuses on a few non-traditional vehicles that have never appeared in a Forza game, including the 1963 Volkswagen Type 2 De Luxe van and the 1945 Jeep Willys MB.
The full list of cars is available on Xbox Wire, and more than 100 more cars have yet to be revealed. We’ll await the next update from Microsoft and developer Playground Games before the game’s release on Sept. 30.
