The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Flood Warning for rain and snowmelt in Southeastern Blaine County in central Idaho, Lincoln County in south central Idaho and Minidoka County in south central Idaho, until 1115 AM MST Monday

Emergency management officials continue to report flooding in central and southern Minidoka County, extreme southern Blaine County, and nearly all of Lincoln County.

More snow is expected, and temperatures will remain below freezing. Flooding conditions will continue to persist for several more days.

Heyburn
Shoshone
Paul
Richfield
Minidoka
Dietrich
Acequia
Shoshone Ice Caves
Bear Trap Airport
Kimama
Laidlaw Corrals Airport

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
