The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Flood Advisory for Twin Falls and the Magic Valley.

The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a Flood Advisory for Southeastern Owyhee and Twin Falls counties. The Flood Advisory is in effect until 4:15 pm today (Aug. 5).

According to the National Weather Service, doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated moderate rain continuing across portions of Twin Falls county. Light to moderate rainfall will continue through this afternoon, with locally heavy rain from thunderstorms.

This will cause minor flooding of some small creeks and poor drainage areas in the area.
