UPDATE: One person suffered injuries in an early morning fire in South Twin Falls. According to City Spokesperson Josh Palmer a female was taken to the hospital from a home on 1142 Kenyon Road. A Barbara Schaak is listed as the home owner.

The Twin Falls Fire Department responded around 4:30 Tuesday morning. When they arrived they found several rooms of the two story home on fire. One firefighter had to be taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation and was released later. The fire was put out shortly after 6:30am. The home suffered extensive damage according to Palmer. No other person was in the home at the time.

TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)-Firefighters from Twin Falls Fire Department are battling a house fire early this morning at 1142 Canyon Road in south Twin Falls.  Not many details are known but an ambulance was called to the scene.  The fire was reported at 4:30am. According to City Spokesperson Josh Palmer several rooms on the main floor were in flames. The city at this time has not confirmed if anyone was in the home at the time or if anyone was injured.
