TWIN FALLS, Idaho (KLIX)- Fire crews are working to contain a blaze that is threatening some structures North of Fairfield. According to the Bureau of Land Management the McCan Fire is burning four miles Northwest of Fairfield and has charged about 2,000 acres.

There are ten engines, one dozer, one water tender, one helicopter, five overhead personnel, and the Gooding and Camas County Rural Fire Departments are helping. No estimated time of containment or control. It is mainly burning in grass and brush. There are two other smaller fires burning in the area.
