WEISER, Idaho (KTVB) -- BLM fire crews are responding to a wildfire burning near Weiser. The fire was originally estimated at around 300 acres, but is now estimated to be at 1,000 acres.

A fire information officer says the Mann Fire was called in at 6:15 p.m. The Weiser fire department was the first to respond, but called in additional resources due to high winds.

The Bureau of Land Management says structures were initially threatened, shifting winds could threaten structures again as the fire fight continues. No evacuations have been ordered. Five engines, three dozers, two structure trucks and two brush trucks as well as air support are helping fight the fire
