Fire Crews Respond to Twin Falls Apartment Fire

Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) - The Twin Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a fire downtown around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Residents of the Garden Grove apartment building, which has five units, were evacuated as firefighters worked to extinguish the flames. The fire was contained to one ground floor apartment.

According to Battalion Chief Ron Aguirre, there was serious damage to the unit involved. The apartment building is located within the 300 block of Second Avenue North. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
