KING HILL, Idaho (KLIX)- A wildfire is burning near Bliss that firefighters expect to have contained by Monday evening.

According to Fire Information Officer for the Bureau of Land Management Ryan Berlin the blaze may have been sparked by lightening at around midnight Monday. Thunderstorms were reported in the area at the time. The 100 acre blaze is currently burning near King Hill in an area known as the Melon Patch, which has large boulders that look like melons.

Four engines crews and a bulldozer are working on the fire. Berlin says they expect to have the fire under full control by Tuesday afternoon. No structures or personal property are threatened by the fire at this time. Berlin says this is the largest fire to date in the Magic Valley.
