At approximately 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2013, Perrine Elementary administration received a report of smoke coming from one of their four-classroom modular buildings. All Perrine Elementary students were evacuated. The Twin Falls Fire Department was able to quickly bring the fire under control. Cause at this time in unknown. There appears to be damage to two of the four classrooms. Students have been allowed to return to their classes in the main building and the Twin Falls School District administration and Perrine Elementary administration will work to determine placement for the students who attend class in the modular building.
