The man who created the Final Fantasy series has announced his newest RPG.

Gematsu reports that Hironobu Sakaguchi, the creator of Final Fantasy, founder of Mistwalker Studio and Master Eraqus from Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, has announced that his next game is a role-playing game called Terra Battle. Even more surprising is that Terra Battle will be released exclusively for smartphones.

In an interview with Sakaguchi at Famitsu, he unveiled that Terra Battle will launch in September as a free-to-play title on mobile devices. Sakaguchi explained that he would love to see it evolve into a console version as well. Like the Final Fantasy series, magic spells will have different ranks, such as "Mega," "Giga" and "Terra." There is to be a a major update on Terra Battle's development sometime in August. The most shocking news about this project so far is that longtime Final Fantasy series composer Nobuo Uematsu is doing its soundtrack, which will include about 20 songs.
