Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) A Filer man is facing charges of sexual abuse of a minor child and could be facing significant time in jail. On Monday, 53-year-old Robert Thornley Williams was arraigned on three counts of lewd conduct against a child younger than 16 and one count of sexual abuse of a child under the age of 16. A police report indicates that Williams sexually abused a 12-year-old female in their Twin Falls County home. Williams, who is the foster father of the child, allegedly touched the girl in a sexual manner and forced her to engage in sex acts with an animal. Bond has been set for 500 thousand dollars. A preliminary hearing has been set for March 14th in Twin Falls magistrate court.
