Filer Craft Fair to Raise Funds for Paralyzed Crash Victim
Andrew Silveria is a young man who was paralyzed in a car accident in July. He is confined to a wheelchair and is unable to leave his house to do things like go to the store or a movie… anything to get out of the confinement of his home. While he is able to obtain transpiration for medical related issues, without a wheelchair accessible van, Andrew has no way to leave his house
A kind woman who recently lost her husband is selling her wheelchair van for just $5,000 – well below what it is worth. Friends of Andrew still need about $3,500 more to come up with total purchase price.
Friends of Andrew have organized a craft fair on December 1st from 9am-3pm at Filer Middle School. Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of the van. There will be arts and crafts for sale from local artists as well as some brand distributors like Scentsy Candles.
