Spring Plant Sale
The College of Southern Idaho Horticulture program will hold its ninth annual Spring Plant Sale Thursday through Saturday, May 9 – 11 at the new CSI greenhouses on the west side of the campus. This is the Horticulture Club’s annual springtime fundraiser.
Just in time for Mother’s Day, CSI Horticulture students will sell shrubs, ground cover, vines, bagged compost and fertilizer, worm castings, red worms, potting soil, strawberries and other berry plants, flowering hanging baskets, bedding plants, herbs, xeriscape plants, houseplants, fruit and shade trees. Students will also be selling some of their ‘project’ plants. They will also be available to give planting and growing advice.
Some of the plants have been grown at CSI Horticulture program partnering businesses, including Rock Creek Growers, Moss Greenhouses, Holly Berry Nursery, and Soft Touch Greenhouses.
The times for the plant sale are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 to 7 p.m. each day. Students can take cash and checks only, no credit or debit cards, please.
