PEPSI NIGHTFIRE NATIONALS RETURNS TO FIREBIRD RACEWAY ON AUGUST
7TH-10TH.

  • Eagle, Idaho… One of the largest motorsport’s events in the Pacific Northwest, the 43rd Annual Pepsi Nightfire Nationals returns on August 7-10, 2014, at Firebird Raceway.
  • Gates will open daily at 8 am. Sportsman racing will get underway at 12:30 pm each day.
  • Professional qualifying takes place at 7 pm on Friday and 2 and 7 pm on Saturday, followed by Pro finals starting at 2 pm on Sunday afternoon.

  • Firebird's located 5 miles north of Hwy 44 on Hwy 16 northwest of Eagle, just follow highway signs.

Additional Info:  The Nightfire is aligned with the NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series, which offers both national points and records for racers in the classes of AA/Funny Car and AA/Fuel Dragster.  This year’s Pepsi Nightfire is anticipating one of the biggest fields of AA/Funny Car and AA/Fuel Dragster, along with Outlaw Pro Modified, which offers a purse topping $185,000.00.  Nightly exhibition runs will take place by Ed “Outlaw” Jones and his amazing wheelstanding Fire Truck from Malad, Ida. In addition, the 300 mile per hour “Incinerator” and “Black Rat” Jet Dragsters will close out the show each evening.  Above and beyond all the Professional teams entered, nearly 400 racers will compete in the Bracketeer Series over four nights, as 15 States and Canada will be represented.
