The College of Southern Idaho’s Community Education Center is offering the non-
credit course, Geriatric Services and Care Management, taught by Michael Buffington, on Tuesday, September 4 - 26 at the CSI Twin Falls campus and Mondays & Wednesday, October 1-29 at the CSI Mini-Cassia campus in Burley. The Twin Falls course is scheduled Tuesday & Wednesday the first week and following weeks Monday & Wednesdays. This course will provide a comprehensive overview of aging issues. The instructor will use an understandable, but holistic approach to help aging individuals and their families successfully navigate the complex maze or age-related resources and services. Topics include: guest speakers on estate planning and legal services, resources in-home
care vs. residential care and finance and insurance. Other topics will include entitlements vs. benefits, Medicare vs. Medicaid and health topics.

The cost to register in Geriatric Services and Care Management is $65 for either session, which includes one guest for free, plus a $15 supply fee payable to the instructor the first night of class.
