CSI Community Fair

The College of Southern Idaho Program Board will welcome students back for the fall semester with a community fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 29. It’s one of the Week of Welcome activities planned for students.
Club president Jim Ingmire encourages businesses, banks, agencies, recruiters, and other members of the community to take part by setting up a display that shows students what services they offer. Booth locations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to fill the space north of the CSI Student Union building.
The fee to participate is either a door prize from your business or a $25 donation to the 5th Judicial District Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program. More information about CASA can be found at www.5thcasaidaho.org. A free lunch will be provided to the community fair participants.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, Aug. 15. Arrangements can be made for power to booths, vehicle parking, and other special needs. Please contact the CSI Program Board at 733-6221 or email to programboard@csi.edu.
