During his 2017 Holdin' My Own Tour, Eric Church was recording his setlist at each his tour stops. He's compiled selections from each of those 61 shows into a new collection, 61 Days in Church.

On Friday (Sept. 1), Church released 30 tracks from his 61 Days in Church collection via Apple Music. Additional songs will be released throughout the rest of 2017, first exclusively on Apple Music and then on all streaming platforms after two weeks. The full collection will be available as a double-disc box set and vinyl on Record Store Day 2018, which is celebrated in April.

A press release reports that, at the end of his Holdin' My Own Tour, Church was left with more than 200 hours of live recordings. In the 61 Days in Church collection, fans will find Church's hits, favorites from his catalog and covers; some of the recordings already available include "Like a Wrecking Ball," "Ain't Killed Me Yet" and a cover of the Band's "The Weight."

"I had so much fun learning songs that were unique to whatever city we found ourselves in,” Church says in a press release. “I learned a lot about each place, and it was special to see the crowd react to the songs that were only for them. I'm glad we recorded it and can relive it forever.”

Fans can visit Church's official website to learn more about the 61 Days in Church project and keep up with the new releases as they appear.

Church began his 2017 Holdin’ My Own Tour in January; it concluded in May with two record-breaking shows at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena. The trek was one of the most-attended tours in the world in 2017, with more than 900,000 fans buying tickets.

During his Holdin’ My Own Tour, Church played marathon setlists, electing to play two sets of his own rather than bring along an opening act. Since the trek ended, Church has been taking some time off, though he does have a few more shows left on his calendar for 2017. For those upcoming shows, Church will be bringing with him some special guests and playing a more traditional, one-set-only show.
