East Idaho Man Sentenced for Conduct at High School Game

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — An eastern Idaho man who pushed a school resource officer and challenged high school basketball officials to a fight after they called a foul on his son has been sentenced to two years of probation and fined $1,280. The Post Register reports  in a story on Saturday that 42-year-old Christopher Baker of Idaho Falls also received a potential sentence of 90 days in jail if he violates probation. Baker pleaded guilty Nov. 14 to disturbing the peace and refusing or obstructing officers during an arrest.

At the Feb. 14 game between two Idaho Falls high schools, Skyline and Bonneville, referees called a foul on Baker's son, a starting guard for Skyline. Officials also ejected Skyline coach Clint Cornish. Bonneville won 84-61.
