IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) — A southeastern Idaho man police say threatened another man with a machete is facing an aggravated assault charge.

The Post Register reports that 49-year-old Armando Ruiz-Cota was taken into custody Sunday. Police say Ruiz-Cota followed a 43-year-old person to an Idaho Falls residence on Sunday and threatened the person with a 2-foot-long machete. Ruiz-Cota was being held in the Bonneville County Jail on Tuesday.
