BOISE, Idaho (AP) — A family from Fremont County has come forward to claim a $2 million Powerball prize.

The Times-News reports that the Grende family of Teton became the 15th million-dollar or higher winners in Idaho Lottery history.

Don and Pam Grende bought a Powerball ticket with the PowerPlay option for the draw Dec. 27. The PowerPlay doubled their prize. The winning ticket was purchased at the Go-C-Goe in their hometown.

The retired couple, along with their sons Dave and Dallas, came to Idaho Lottery headquarters in Boise on Friday to claim the prize. The winning ticket was equally split among the family of four. Dave and Dallas say they are now considering retirement after this big win.
