E3 2014: Ubisoft Announces Just Dance 2015 for October, Demonstrates Just Dance Now App

During Ubisoft's E3 2014 presentation, the game studio announced the latest installment in the Just Dance series, Just Dance 2015. The game will be released on gaming platforms in October 2014.

The studio emphasized the power of community with Just Dance 2015. Executive Producer Jason Altman revealed that anyone will be able to join in on a Just Dance game with friends as long as they have the Just Dance Now app on a smartphone. The app will be made available on a wide range of mobile devices and will allow people to use their smartphones as a controller.

As part of the demonstration, Altman invited a group of dancers and around the theaters to to participate in a dance off to Lady Gaga's 'Applause.' Each dancer had a smartphone on them, and was able to dance and rack up points for their efforts.

Altman promised that the game will revolutionize latency-free, multiplayer online gaming. Look for it in Oct. 2014.
