E-coli Found in Richfield, Idaho Water Supply

RICHFIELD, Id. (KMVT/KSVT) Those who are connected to the Richfield city water are being warned to boil their water. Luann Swainston, the city clerk, said the order came from the Department of Environmental Quality after E-coli and Coliform Bacteria were found in the water supply. The order is in place until further notice, the clerk said. It’s not known what caused the contamination. The city has 420 water users on the system.
