One of the biggest stories of the World Series so far has been the return of Chicago Cubs slugger Kyle Schwarber. Let's remind the rest of the world what most of us in Idaho already know. Kyle hit his first pro home run in Boise.

It was early June in 2014 when Kyle made his debut in Boise. He had 3 hits including one mammoth shot over the right field wall that gave Boise the lead.

One of the reasons why Kyle's return this year caught most of us by surprise was the injury he suffered in the 3rd game of the season this year was thought to be season-ending.

Kyle now has 3 hits in the first 2 World Series game helping the Cubs tie the Indians at 1 game apiece as they head back to Chicago for 3 games this weekend.

No matter what happens from here on out, just a reminder to the rest of the world that it all started here in Idaho when Kyle played for the Hawks in Boise.
