Does Re-gifting Destroy Friendships? [POLL]

Hi.  My name is Brad.  And I have re-gifted a present.

I have to admit, at the time I was giving someone a present that someone else had gotten me, I didn't think much of it until after the deed was done.  Afterward, I thought that maybe my actions were that of someone who was ungrateful.  Honestly, I don't know.  I wasn't mad about the gift and I appreciated that someone took time to get me something they thought I would enjoy... but in the end, I was never going to use it.  So why not put it in the hands of someone else who might like it?

A new study suggests that re-gifting is a reflection of how you feel about the person who gave you the gift.  If you easily pass it on, then you don't value your friend.  I guess it depends if their feelings would be hurt by the action, right?
