Do You Remember When The Teton Dam In Idaho Collapsed
41 years ago the newly built Teton Dam in Eastern Idaho collapsed while filling for the first time.
It was the largest man-made disaster in Idaho’s history according to the Spokesman-Review in an article from last year on the 40th anniversary of the accident. Idaho Public Television recorded a 30 minute special on the events leading up to, through, and after the flooding.
