Blake Shelton dropped Dixie Crystals Sugar into his hit song 'Boys 'Round Here,' and now an artist has dropped Dixie Crystals Sugar on Blake Shelton. Reginald Adams, the president and CEO of Museum of Cultural Arts Houston, created a portrait of the singer using sugar and sugar packaging. A time-lapsed video shows his process.

According to the Houston Chronicle, it took Adams 30 hours to create the 30x30 portrait. He used granulated, powdered, light brown, dark brown and turbinado sugars. Imperial Sugar Company hired him to create Sugar Shelton, while Open Box Productions filmed it and created the time lapse video.

Yeah, the girls ’round here, they all deserve a whistle / Shakin’ that sugar, sweet as Dixie Crystal,” Shelton sings in his hit song. His wife Miranda Lambert and her Pistol Annies bandmates joined Shelton on the track from 'Based on a True Story ...'

Sadly, it's not clear what will become of Sugar Shelton now that the artwork is complete.
