'Wall-E' is one of my favorite Disney/Pixar films and I've always wondered what it would be like to have a real Wall-E around. It turns out that I'm not the only one. A group of robot builders in California have created a real Wall-E.

The project, led by Michael McMaster, took over five years to get to the point you see in this video, and Wall-E continues to evolve. Every part on the robot was made from scratch, all the way down to the individual links in his treads.

Look at Wall-E's big, sad eyes and tell me you don't want to take this little 'bot home. He's so cute!
