Disney Infinity 2.0 Trailer: Avengers Playset Assembles

A new trailer has been released for Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes, showcasing the play-set for Marvel’s mightiest heroes, the Avengers.

The trailer doesn’t reveal too much info, but it does give us a look at how the new Marvel characters will do battle in the game. In their efforts to stop the evil Loki, we see the famous super-team do pretty much what we expect them to do; Iron Man flies and shoots repulsor blasts, Thor swings his hammer, Hawkeye shoots arrows, Black Widow kung-fu kicks, Captain America slings his shield, and Hulk…well Hulk smashes. Hulk always smashes.

There’s even a cute after-credits scene that shows Hulk finding an innovative solution to the age old problem of parallel parking. Spoiler: it involves smashing.

When Disney Infinity 2.0 launches this Fall on every conceivable platform on Earth, Iron Man, Black Widow and Thor will be available in the starter pack, while Cap, Hawkeye and Hulk will be found in single packs. More characters are coming, namely the Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man and Nick Fury, not to mention Disney classics like Maleficent. We’ll be on the lookout for more character and play-set trailers in the coming months.
