Dierkes Lake in Twin Falls: What’s Your Favorite Summer Spot?

The nice thing about Idaho is that you don't have to go far to enjoy the outdoors.  I was reminded about this during a Sunday visit to Dierkes and Shoshone Falls.  It's one of my favorite spots because there is so much to do in one place.  You can swim at the lake, hike back to hidden lakes, fish, let the kids loose on the playground or just take in the scenery.   I also like that it's close to home... and the parking lot.  And food -  They have a snack bar.  Now THAT's roughing it.
