Diddy Kong Joins the Super Smash Bros. Fray

Donkey Kong's little buddy, Diddy Kong, has now officially rejoined the fracas in Super Smash Bros.

Director Masahiro Sakurai posted to the Miiverse with the announcement that Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was now available in Europe and North America. To celebrate this fact, he posted a picture of Diddy Kong and announced that the little guy would be joining the Super Smash Bros. roster once more.

It seems that they've made some tweaks to Diddy Kong in this iteration of Super Smash Bros. In a comment on the MiiVerse post, Sakurai said, "We've increased Diddy Kong's flexibility this time. This picture shows how far his punches stretch during his strong side attack."
