If you go fishing at Cedar Creek Reservoir, you never know what might end up on the other end of your pole. That's what one Twin Falls family learned when their little girl's fishing pole landed a fish way bigger than any of them expected.

KBOI from Boise first reported on the story of Heather Lusk and her family and their ice fishing trip. What started with their small daughter battling what she thought was a tiny fish ended up with her dad pulling in a monster rainbow trout.

When they weighed it, they realized that she had caught a 14.2 pound trout. Wow.

According to the story, the family had been out of work due to all of the flooding in our area. What better way to turn some down time into a family fish story that will be told for years.
