Destiny’s PS4 Commercial Showcases New Footage

This latest PlayStation 4 commercial features brand new footage from Bungie's return to the genre they helped revolutionize.

Destiny seems so far away, and we can't wait to get out hands on it. Nevertheless, this newest PS4 commercial features exclusive gameplay footage of Destiny that we haven't seen before. Just as the song looming in the commercial's background describes, Destiny will feature a lot of shared-world content. This means that it will function a bit similarly to a massively multiplayer online game, but with a focus on partying, exploration and first-person combat.

Destiny will mark Bungie's return to the FPS genre when it debuts Sept. 9 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Luckily, there is also the likelihood of an open beta in the works.
