Bungie's Destiny is now one month old, averages 3.2 million players daily and reminds us a lot of Phantasy Star Online.

Bungie celebrated the one month anniversary of Destiny's launch by providing some interesting, up-to-date statistics. The average Guardian has played Destiny 20.9 times since its launch and 1.8 times a day for about 3 hours a day. Destiny still averages over 3.2 million players daily and has had more players online over the past three weeks than Bungie did for Halo 3 and Halo: Reach's first months combined. Mind you, Halo 3 and Halo: Reach both had lengthy single-player campaigns and all of Destiny's gameplay is online, even its story missions. Despite the criticisms Destiny has had, you can't deny that these are some serious numbers. Bungie claims that more changes are in the works to help with Destiny's overall experience.

Redditor KytorIndustries has posted a huge photo comparing Destiny to Phantasy Star Online. Despite being 14 years old, the Sega MMORPG has a lot in common in Destiny when you think about it, whether it be the races, classes or their tiny floating robots.
