Twin Falls, Idaho ( KMVT-TV / KSVT-TV ) Starting in the fall of 2016, the College of Southern Idaho's Registered Nursing Program will no longer use a waiting list. Due to high job demand, salary, and benefits offered to registered nurses — there have always been more applicants than the 50 student program can accommodate. As a result, the school has typically accepted all qualifying applicants, putting the excess number on a waiting list.

But, beginning in 2016, that waiting list will be no–more. From that point on, only the top 50 applicants will be selected for the highly competitive program each semester. Eliminating the waiting list will bring the RN program in–line with all of CSI's other health science programs.

Students who have completed the pre–requisites and are eligible for application will have until February, 15th of 2016 to complete their application to be considered for the fall class.
