TWIN FALLS, Idaho (AP) — College of Southern Idaho basketball coach Steve Gosar is stepping away from college coaching. Gosar announced his retirement Monday, saying he wanted to spend more time with his family and raising his three sons. The Times-News reports Gosar told players Monday morning before a press conference at the Twin Falls campus. He has served as the Golden Eagles' head coach for the last five years and led the team to a national championship in 2011 and compiled an overall record of 126-42. Gosar said he would be looking at taking opportunities in the private sector, but did not share any details about potential options. School officials have not yet announced how they will fill the vacancy.
