UPDATE: Crash Closes Highway 93 Near Nevada Line

The following is from Idaho State Police:

On Tuesday April 1, 2014, at approximately 9:18 a.m. the Idaho State Police investigated a three vehicle injury crash southbound US Highway 93 at milepost 7, north of the Nevada border.  Timothy Mingo, 29, of Mesa, AZ was traveling southbound in a 2010 Honda Fit.  Wesley Jones, 75, of Idaho Falls, was headed northbound in a 2007 Buick La Crosse.  Kristin Koning, 31, of Tumwater, WA, was also headed southbound in a 2009 Mazda four-door.  Mingo lost control of his vehicle and struck Jones' vehicle.  Koning's vehicle then struck Mingo's vehicle.  Mingo and his three passengers were transported by ground ambulance to Saint Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls.  Jones and his passenger and Koning were also transported to Saint Luke's Magic Valley in Twin Falls.  All occupants were wearing their seatbelts.  Both directions of travel were blocked for approximately three hours.
