TWIN FALLS, Id. (KMVT-KSVT) Construction on a $3.9 million upgrade to the Magic Valley Regional Airport has been delayed until March of 2016.

The original cost of the project was estimated to sit at around $2.5 million, but additional costs have pushed the start of construction back.

Airport Manager, Bill Carberry says that additional cost will be covered with funds from the Federal Aviation Administration and will cover 95% of the entire budget.

The plan is to upgrade the airports ramps and taxi lanes along with a major face-lift of the terminal.
