Computers for Kids, Inc. (CFK) is a non-profit organization formed in 2002 that receives donated computers from individuals and businesses, then refurbishes and licenses them for distribution to students for their home use. As a part of this program, each student's educational needs are considered and software programs are provided to assist them in improving their studies.

Computers for Kids, Inc. (CFK) will be in the Twin Falls area distributing computers to the local students that have submitted an application.   They will be in the area for one day only on May 16th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Jerome County Fairgrounds, 200 North Fir Street, Jerome, ID.

During the May 16th event the community you can help by dropping off donations of old, broken, unused, and unwanted computers and electronics (except televisions).  All donations are tax deductible.

CFK is a non-profit organization that takes donations of computers, refurbishes them, and then donates fully-equipped computer systems to Idaho students.

Through the generosity of individuals and businesses CFK has distributed over 33,000 refurbished computer systems to our students. Over concerns with identity theft, CFK partner Secure Data Sanitization, LLC (SDS) will do a “secure erase” on every donated hard drive, free of charge. SDS “secure erase” is better than the DoD’s standard wipe, the computer is never turned on, and SDS is one of only three companies in the nation able to achieve this level of security.

So please support our students with donations of computers.
