Although we won't see the official 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' panel at Comic-Con 2014 until tomorrow, we do have a bit of early news regarding the Warner Bros. and DC movie universe: 'Batman v Superman' writer Chris Terrio has been set to write the script for Zack Snyder's 'Justice League' movie. Big surprise, right?

Deadline reports this early bit of news from San Diego on the night before the WB panel. Chris Terrio, who won the Academy Award in 2013 for his 'Argo' screenplay, has been hired to write the script for the 'Justice League' movie, following his scripting duties on 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.' Apparently the studio was so pleased with his work on that film that they've decided to bring him back for more superhero action on Zack Snyder's follow-up. It also probably doesn't hurt that he helped our new Batman win an Oscar for 'Argo.'

Zack Snyder is currently hard at work on 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' which also features Henry Cavill reprising his role of Clark Kent/Superman, alongside Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Also cast are Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy in undisclosed roles.

Snyder will follow up 'Batman v Superman' with 'Justice League' before bringing us the 'Man of Steel' sequel -- so he should be pretty busy for a while. We'll know more tomorrow during the official 'Batman v Superman' panel in Hall H at Comic-Con. Stay tuned for more details!
