College Of Southern Idaho Events

The College of Southern Idaho is never lacking in local, great events. Houda Abdul from the college stopped by to inform us of the following events: 

CSI Harvest Time Festival - the festival starts tomorrow at the Expo Center and goes through Sunday. This is the biggest holiday arts and crafts show in southern Idaho with more than 200 vendors. Lots of good food for sale from CSI’s Culinary students, raffle prizes every 20 minutes during the show, and still just $3 admission. The Harvest Time Festival runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Celebrate Veterans Day - Friday night Magic Valley Symphony will perform at 7:30 in the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium. Twin Falls native Caleb Collins comes home to sing and share his symphonic arrangements from his newly-released album of gospel-style jazz. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 for all students – available at the door or at Kurt’s Pharmacy in the Lynwood.
CSI Music Department - Kimberly natives Mark Neiwirth (say it: NYE-worth) and Eleanor Cox will perform a concert on piano and cello. Each of these accomplished musicians is respected throughout the region and this promises to be an excellent show. This concert is at 7:30 Saturday in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $6 for all students.
Star Party - The Herrett Center is offering a free November star party. They’ll have the telescopes set up in the observatory from 6:15 to midnight. Be sure to dress warmly because the observatory is not heated. Feel free to show up any time between 6:15 and midnight to take in some great views of stars, planets, and the moon.
