POCATELLO, Idaho (AP) — A Bannock County prosecutor says he'll review autopsy and police reports, and speak with the family of a 5-year-old victim of an accidental shooting before deciding whether to file any criminal charges. Noelle Aston Shawver, of Blackfoot, was killed July 30 when another 5-year-old found a firearm and shot her. She died later that day. Shawver's family was visiting a home in Chubbuck when the shooting occurred. The Idaho State Journal reports prosecutor Steve Herzog plans to meet with the family by mid-January.

Herzog says child endangerment charges could be filed. In a separate accidental shooting Tuesday, a 29-year-old mother from Blackfoot was killed when her 2-year-old son found a gun inside her purse while they were shopping at a Wal-Mart in Hayden.
