The only thing I do not love would have to be the weather. And let me be clear, I love the weather, I do not like the temperamental Mother Nature that controls Idaho. Idaho has it's own Mother and she is on a rampage.

The Twin Falls Sheriff's Office shared on their Facebook page some of the non-scrapers they caught this week.

Happy Groundhog Day! I know getting weather advice from a rodent seems strange, and it is, but it is kind of fun. The groundhog did in fact see his shadow which means 6 more weeks of winter.

This week there has been a couple of different avalanche warnings expressed by the Sawtooth Avalanche Center in Ketchum. Several of avalanches occurred this week and a specialist breaks it down, and shows some awesome photos.

Every year that I have been here at least, hand made scarves and hats get tied to the bars of the old singing bridge in Downtown Twin Falls. These are free for those in need.

I have been here in Twin Falls almost 5 years and my first full winter in Twin Falls was Snowmagedon. 4 years ago we were in the midst of the snowpocalypse, the worst snow storm the area had seen in about 30 years according to people in the area.

Apparently snow kayaking is becoming a more and more popular thing around the world. To me it looks ridiculously dangerous but also ridiculously fun. If you can't ski or snowboard, try snow kayaking. It might be the thrill you need this winter.

We have all been there where you are running late and you are going to be late for work if you fight with the ice scraper. Well, not doing it could land you a $90 fine.

Snow could have happened in August the way 2020 and Mother Nature work around here. Anyway, before it starts to get too cold and snowy out there, there are a few things you might want to do.

This morning we found a black and orange looking fluffy caterpillar. After some research it was determined it is a wooly bear caterpillar. Not only are they interesting to look at, there supposedly can predict the type of winter we are going to have.

Happy fall! In Idaho fall can mean blistering heat or 6 inches of snow, it is so unpredictable. However there are some things synonymous with fall and we want to know which part is your favorite.

This Labor Day weekend it is supposed to be hot, like, really hot for Twin Falls and the Magic Valley. We are looking at near triple digit heat over the long weekend. But then, just as Labor Day ends it seems like fall begins.
