April 9, 2012 Some friends of our just got back from an amazing vacation. They had a great time but they both admitted that they were gone way to long to the point were everyone wanted to kill each other the last few days. This was not a good way to wrap up their vacation.

March 29, 2012 I live for technology. No matter where I am or what I'm doing I always have my iPhone, a laptop, and an always-on internet connection. From the moment I wake up to the last minute before I go to sleep at night, I'm connected in some way to the internet.
I think, more often than not, you are too, and it's all starting to become too much.
March 29, 2012 Don't get me wrong I think Easter is an important Holiday, and everyone in our community seems to be very involved in Easter activities. But I think we go over board with gifts on Holidays like Valentines Day and Easter. My kids were truly a little disappointing this Valentines Day because all they received was chocolate when all of their friends received some sort of video game or toy.
March 20, 2012 I like the occasional yard sale, but I am not like some of my friends who are yard sale fanatics...seriously, it's like every Saturday is Black Friday. I had one friend who would draw out a map and disperse it with a list of locations, items and pick up times. She would be at my door at 5:30am, ready to go. I had no idea mini-vans could fly through neighborhoods and stop lights!
The Twin Falls City Council will be discussing the results of the $11,000 dollar public opinion survey at its regular meeting tonight. The Times News reports that the survey revealed that city residents are not real keen on civic engagement with 23 percent reporting that they attended at least one public meeting in the last year.

March 15, 2012 Have you ever had a sales clerk in a department store try and tell you what size you "really" are. For some reason they all think I am littler than I am. So it is really awkward when they try and sell me something that just DOESN'T fit
March 14, 2012 I don't think there is anything wrong with leaving a 15 year old in the car while you run into the gas station to grab a soda, but I do think it is wrong to leave your 4 year old in the car. Although, I have left my son in an un-running, locked car while I ran into my house to grab something

St. Patrick's Day is on Saturday, which means this year, you don't even have to take off work to get hammered at eight in the morning. And a lot of people are going to take advantage of that.
March 13, 2012 I love making a Birthday cake for my kids for their Birthdays and they seem to enjoy picking out what kind of cake they want me to make them. The cake my son picked out this year is going to cost me double the amount to make compared to if I bought the same cake. A little shocking, but true!
